University Heights Charter School proudly partners with these great organizations to provide our students with the highest quality education possible:

   
 Bethany Baptist members spearheaded the founding of UHCS and continue to provide essential community support.
NCSF is our biggest philanthropic supporter and provides valuable technical assistance.

 A full-time Playworks coach integrates positive physical play into our recess and afterschool activities.
  
 
TFA provides high quality, dedicated teachers and ongoing professional development support.
NLNS trained our leadership, places resident principals on-site, and coaches our staff to achieve high results.
EPIC  rewards our teachers for breakthrough student achievement and helps our school share best practices.

 

City Green offers UHCS practical, technical and financial support for its own community garden.

Project U.S.E. leads outdoor education activities for staff and students that teaches teamwork and environmental awareness.

As a member of the Achievement Network we coordinate interim assessments and share teacher resources with 7 other schools.

 
 O’ia-da International connects our students with children in Africa through its telepresence cultural centersSaint Vincent Academy students volunteer weekly as classroom aides, providing valuable support for our students and staff.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Essex, Hudson & Union Counties provides weekly afterschool mentors to over 50 students.
   
The Newark Museum annually provides our students free admission to its extensive collection and learning experiences.
The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra provides our students free concerts and other musical experiences.
    
Our neighbor UMDNJ provides free dental screenings for our students through its annual "Give Kids A Smile!" program.
